Los Tacos No.1

The busiest line in the Chelsea Market was for the Adobada tacos from Los Tacos No.1

My mind was blown from the Birria tacos we tried in LA, but I was expecting these to be completely different. We were after the Adobada (pork) tacos. I ordered 2 on corn tortillas with salsa, onion and cilantro but no guac. This was a good decision cus I would have hated guac on this taco. There was also a station at the counter where you could add any extra salsa and pico de galo. This was fantastic. The pineapple with the pork was brilliant. Super juicy and packed with flavour. The pork had some nice crispy bits as well as really tender meat. Only thing was the salsa was burning hot, and kinda took some of the flavour away from me cus it was just spicy. The pineapple and pico de galo helped a lot though to balance it out. I would definitely try these again without the salsa. The guys making these tacos were machines. Super fast and efficient. Basically taco magicians.
