2 hour long wait for LA's most famous Hot Fried Chicken
727 N Broadway #128, Los Angeles, CA 90012, USA

Not even exaggerating when I say we lined up for 2 hours for fried chicken. We were after the Hot Chicken Sando. And we were determined to get it. After 2 hours we ordered and got a tiny table and watched the magic happen. The staff were amazing. All laughing and dancing and so incredibly friendly. Really made it worth while. They were even amazing enough to give us samples of some sides. They have a hotness scale from Country to Howlin Heat. We opted for Mild which was the 2nd on the 5 option scale, cus I'm not a huge fan of spice. And I have to say it was still spicy. The chicken was on fire. Crunchy and burning hot inside with all the juices just pouring out. It was a huge fillet of chicken too. It was everything you want from fried chicken. Crispy crunchy spice-full coating with juicy tender chicken. The coleslaw was out of this world. Provided heaps of relief from the richness of the chicken. Same with the pickles and the brilliant sauce. It was so heavy though. I regrettably admit I couldn't finish it. The chips were spicy too! We tried a solo wing as well and it was really good. But what really made this was their lemonade. It helped so much to get through the spice and was a perfect accompaniment to all the salty foods.
