Breads was featured on Buzzfeed a while back and I was so interested in trying their chocolate babka. The smell that came from stepping inside this cafe was amazing. Smells of fresh baked bread and pastries instantly made you want to buy something. There were shelves and shelves of sweet and savoury pastries but the king of all pastries in this cafe was the chocolate babka. This huge take home babka smelt and looked incredible, shiny and glazed to perfection with a very crunchy top.

The rugelach also caught my eye. They also had trays and trays of these but they were more a snack dessert so we tried this straight away. This was honestly perfection. Crunchy coating, buttery, chocolatey, not too sweet. The inside was more bready than crossainty but was honestly beautiful.

We went home and tried the babka and my god I could not stop. I honestly nearly ate the entire thing myself. It was absolutely delicious. Like.. SO GOOD. You could pull apart the layers so easily. It was so elastic and bready and moist inside. There were huge bits of chocolate all through it which was incredible. It was just q u a l i t y. I wanted to bring a life time supply home with me.
