Geno's Steaks

One of Philly's most iconic late night Cheesesteak destinations

First meal in Philly right around the corner from our Airbnb was Geno's. This is one of the most famous cheesesteak places and we were very keen. You can't really tell from the photo but the cheesesteak was made up of sliced beef, provolone cheese and onion. It was SO tasty. I was shocked of how tender the steak was. The onions were brilliant and the provolone gave heaps of flavour. I saw on Geno's insta that they were bringing back their meatball subs and after a 6 hour flight with no food I was craving one big meaty sandwhich and this hit the spot. Again, the meat was unbelievably tender and juicy loaded with rich tomato sauce. It looks like a mess but it was honestly fantastic. The best meatball sub I've ever tried. Didn't even need cheese it was that good.
